They Don’t Call TV An Idiot Box For Nothing

Forget the content, are TV and videos physically damaging to the developing brain of infants and young children? Some say yes, here and here, while others say no, here.

I am suspicious, and I lean toward the message of the “it is damaging crowd.”

Don’t you think that it is most prudent of parents to err on the side of caution? Throw that damn electronic babysitter out! And, while you are at it, there is no good reason for kids to be using a computer. Let them return to the joys of exploring a non-electronic world. There is plenty of time for the madness.
