The Hells Angels’ is Not Your Local Elks Club
For those who think that outlaw motorcycle gangs, and the Hells Angels’ in particular, are not much more than an ugly wart on society, think again. They are a criminal cancer growing in and sucking the vitality out of society. A former San Diego Hells Angels’ member is convicted and sentenced to 14 years in prison.
U.S. Attorney Carol Lam said:
Some of these outlaw bikers can be quite personable. But, to hang around them is akin to sideling up to a rabid dog.
A former high-ranking member of the San Diego Hells Angels was sentenced Friday to 14 years in federal prison for his part in a conspiracy to murder rival motorcycle gang members and distribute drugs.
Mark Alan Toycen, the ex-Master-At-Arms for the Hells Angels in San Diego, pleaded guilty earlier to conspiracy to commit racketeering and conspiracy to commit to distribute methamphetamine.
U.S. Attorney Carol Lam said:
“The Hells Angels in San Diego are a gang that has brought violence and drugs to our streets for years,” … “Taking down their leadership is a public service.”
