State of the Union Message: Defeat Islamofascism

Pres. George W. Bush’s State of the Union Speech opened with the most important topic of our time. The President was strong on the realities of our adversarial Islamofascist ideology and the sponsor nations of terrorism. The President is quite correct that the only long-term solution is a democracy and freedom never previously enjoyed in the Middle East. With out something new and appealing, the area is destined to continue to sink into the fever swamp of Islamofascism.

The determination of the President to tackle and make meaningful progress against Islamofascism means little if a sizeable percentage of our population does not get the message. If they don’t get on board and reject the braying by the extremist leaders of the appeasement party, our country won’t make a serious effort at securing the safety of the nation.

I am close to accusing any political hack of either party, who practices partisan politics to the detriment of the safety of the public, as a traitor. Ignorance is no excuse. The only workable defense is a strong offense. If you can’t understand that simple concept, you are clueless.
