What Have You Done To Make The World Better?

They walked, the 4800. Within approximately 4700, some had two breasts, some had one, and some had none. 54.3 miles in 3 days. $11.3 million raised.

Last weekend in San Diego the 4800, both males and females, walked and closed the Breast Cancer Walk season with the Susan G. Komen 3 Day Breast Cancer Walk. Avon closed its season earlier in the year. The Walks of both of these sponsoring organizations are responsible for bettering the lives of millions of women and men in the United States. Not only do these Walks raise incredible amounts of money for outreach and research, but they offer an opportunity to reach beyond yourself and to extend your endurance in a mutual community effort. These Walks are literally life changing experiences.

Ask yourself, what have I done to make the world a better place? If you join a Walk you will not only be doing something incredibly good for others, but you will be doing one of the best things that you could hope to do for yourself.

Check out the Walk websites of Susan G. Komen and Avon. Now sign-up to be a Walker or a member of the Crew and start an incredible journey.
