"There Are No Atheists In A Fighting Hole"

We here in the United States are comfortable with our religions or our lack thereof. But, when you are in the “middle of it” you tend to ascribe to one religion or the other. In country, other than your ties to your fellow foxhole occupants, what else do you have to help you hold onto your sanity?

I understand that in Iraq if a Muslim can kill an infidel during Ramadan, he is blessed one thousand times more than if he kills one during the rest of the year. Let’s all join with our fighting service personnel and pray that the Islamists try. As it is said, kill them all and let God sort it out.
