We Can No Longer Trust the News During Emergencies

Today the fire in Simi Valley was under control for the entire day and there were absolutely no evacuations nor threats of evacuations within the city. Nevertheless, the media continued to advised that evacuations were ordered even in areas not threatened within the last 24 hours. So much for accurate reporting. Now where are the citizens expected to turn to for accurate information? It seems that New Orleans media reporting does not have anything on us.
