LA Times Caught in Racist Smear

In my Simi Valley Soap Box blog on a homegrown terrorism potential, Newspapers Deceiving Us Over Homegrown Terrorism, I applauded the LA Times for at least giving better coverage than two other local newspapers. The LA Times mentioned that one of the possible terrorists is a member of Rollin’ 60’s gang. Of course the LA Times did not say that the gang member is black, they left it up to the reader to be knowledgeable enough to know that Rollin’ 60’s is a black gang. Now Patterico has discovered that the LA Times has no problems publishing a piece on potential U.S. Supreme Court nominees and that Pres. Bush was only considering “white men.” Someone must have caught the LA Times in its attempted racist smear because they removed the word “white” from the article published on the internet without explanation of the editing.
